The International Center for Professional Accountants in Business, hosted by IFAC's Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee, provides resources and facilitates the exchange of knowledge and best practices among the more than one million professional accountants worldwide employed in commerce, industry, the public sector, education, and the not-for-profit sector. IFACNetIFACnet, the KnowledgeNet for Professional Accountants, is the multilingual, global search engine developed by IFAC and its member organizations to serve SMPs, professional accountants in business, and other professional accountants worldwide. Judges have identified 10 high quality articles from which they will select the winning article. To do so, they are inviting the input of professional accountants in business worldwide. Tell us what you think Please read the top 10 articles and rate their usefulness by January 11, 2009 by going to the Articles of Merit Rating Page. The articles focus on topics such as outsourcing of the finance and accounting function, developing a management accounting framework, measuring board performance, adopting a best-in-class approach in pricing, analyzing mergers and acquisitions, managing strategic risk, planning multi-year strategies, achieving employee alignment and motivation, avoiding undesirable black holes, and pursuing financial leadership. The winning article will be announced in early 2009. Users can share web links on topics relevant to professional accountants in business.
